If a patient is seen at an Urgent Care location (could be located at the hospital or an offsite location) and they are directed to ER for further workup, would you bill the E/M at the Urgent Care? Does it matter if the Urgent Care is on campus at the hospital? Different doc is seeing the patient at the hospital ER. Thanks!
