If an established patient has a level 3 History or Exam and a final diagnosis of upper respiratory infection, which is acute or recently developed, is it a 99212, or 99213?
In other words, if MD gives Rx for URI where would URI be under Number of Diagnoses/Management Options? (self-limited or minor?
or New problem to examining MD--no add'l workup planned?)
