Our physician hired a new PA. He has brought a microscope and suggested that they look at urine and vaginal smears and charge for it. I am not familiar with this but I would imagine that they would have to prepare, screen and interpret the results if they want to bill for this (If this can be done in the office since we only do CLIA waived testing). I need someone's help that is familiar with this please...:confused:
