I have been trying to do some research on 80300. Our doctor insists that we charge separately for an 81003 when doing a 80300. The nurses tell me it is part of the test as it is used to establish validity. Isn't this bundled into the 80300? Thanks for any help you can offer.

THere is no edit that bundles them togather as far as I can see. Are they testing for bilirubin, glucose, hemoglobin, ketones, leukocytes, nitrate, ph or protein in addition to the drug screen? If so, then I think both codes could be billed.
