Wiki Urologist, injection Lupron

I have a Urology office in TX that due to shortage of 3 month Lupron, gave a 6 month injection in September with the next one scheduled for March. Humana has denied due to "exceeds unit limits" Has anyone else had an issue like this and how did you handle it. Humana is the only insurance that has denied. We have sent records etc. They are still denying the charge. Please let me know if you have any ideas or information.

This is a case where you have done everything correctly. The next step is a conference with the carrier medical director with one of your physicians not a coder or other non physician provider.
