We see patients in urology to discuss having a vasectomy. Patients come in without any other complaints or problems. We charge a consult or regular office visit with the diagnosis of V25.09 or V25.2.
Medicare and most commercial carriers do not like the v-codes billed w/o a preventative E&M.
How do other offices charge for these visits and get paid?:confused:
