can anybody give any tips on billing knee scopes to the department of us labor especially since i am receiving low reimbursement on the facility charges.

I think USDL likes to be difficult all around... any specific questions? We certainly deal with them quite often!

Just make sure you get a copy of the pt's OWCP letter and include the case file # on the claim. Also, be absolutely sure that the dx code and procedure exactly matches what they approved. Make sure your DOL provider # is in box 33b, and give them a couple of months to process it. And that's all you can really do.
