My provider order a US RENAL COMPLETE W PVR - the codes were 76770 and 76857? I am not sure if this is correct. The kidneys and bladder were visualized as well as pre/ post void results. Thank you.
 
If the reason for the exam was urinary tract pathology then CPT 76770 would be correct. If only the bladder with pre/post void is imaged (no kidneys) you would code 76857. Clinical Examples in Radiology Summer 2013 has a Test Case on this scenario.
