I am unclear of the most appropriate use of V67.09
I've been told this can be used in Colonoscopy if polyps have been removed in the past.
I disagree.... I feel V12.72 personal hx of colon polyps is a much more specific
code to be used for Colonoscopy.
I could see using V67.09 as follow up of colostomy reversal, then the colonoscopy
for evaluation of healing could have the V67.09.
What are your opinions on this code???? Thank you for your response.
