Hi there, I am trying to do some research about using 99408 which is - Alcohol and/or substance (other than tobacco) abuse structured screening (eg, AUDIT, DAST), and brief intervention (SBI) services and having a BH diagnosis for example F42.9 Obsessive-compulsive disorder, unspecified.

Does anyone know if using these together would cause an issue for an insurance to process this correctly as a behavioral health/mental health patient rather than a Substance use disorder patient?
