Wiki Using R71.0 (precipitous drop in hematocrit)

Morbidly obese patient (female) presents for gastrectomy, discharge summary states that postoperatively the patient had a slight drop in hematocrit, but was stable. No other mention except the lab values of the low hematocrit and a note there saying will call to nurse. R71.0 is a CC so it kicks the DRG over if it is used here. Is it viable to use it in this scenario?
