Using two different scopes

If a doctor begins a colonoscopy using one scope but can only get so far, then takes that scope out and starts over using a pediatric scope, do you still only code the procedure once or is it coded differently using a modifier and if so, which one?

Thanks, everyone for your help!!!

I wouldn't code it twice. It sounds like they had to use the pediatric scope in order to properly complete the procedure, that's all. I would only code it once.
