Wiki V15.1 and V45.81

Could someone explain the difference in these two codes for me. We have had numerous discussions about this in our office and are unsure, when a patient is status post CABG, which code we should use. Sound very much the same to me. Thanks.
 
Personally, I think V45.81 is more specific, I use it whenever a patient has had a previous cabg procedure.

I think V15.1 is too vague.

I agree, V45.81 is specific for S/P CABG whereas V15.1 would include procedures such as pericardial window, ablation, tumor removal and defect repairs.
