Need help to clear my mind on this discussion I had in office. Which code is appropriate when a pt comes in for follow up after surgery. V45.8X Other postprocedural status or V67.09 following surgery code. Would like to end this inter office discussion.

V67.0X is right

V67.0x is appropriate when a pt comes in for follow up after surgery if the physician states stable or unstable post operative findings, because the reason for the visit is meant for studying after surgery.
