we have a Pallative Care client that always uses V66.7 as a secondary dx. Yet not all Pallative Care visits are for terminal diseases. I was also under the impression that pallative care was a pre-Hospice condition. Does anyone use V66.7 for their pallative patients even if it's for a visit such as chronic back pain?
