Hi everyone!
Has anyone noticed an increase in Veterans administration patients? What about issues with getting the claims paid? Just started to rcv denials stating the procedure did not match the ICD-9 and vice versa. Talked with someone at the VA in billing and she mentioned that she s/w someone that might have suggested there was a "misprint" in the ASA crosswalk 2014 that is somehow creating this issue. Checked the ICD-9 and CPT codes used to bill the claims and all looked perfect. Any info out there!!!!!!! Thank you!!
 
The only issue we've had with VA claims is that they want an E-code with all injuries. Of course, we frequently don't have that information, and finding it can be a pain.
