I am just needing clarification patient came in for induction for elevated blood pressure.
The patient also had nuchal cord and 2nd degree laceration. I have coded all of these. The dr also used a vacuum extraction with delivery. Do I also need to code 669.5? The provider did not specifically state the reason for the vacuum. I just didnt know if this code is only used when no other dxs or I can use it in conjunction with the other dxs that are coded?
