New to OB billing and I have a question.
If our physician has followed the patient for prenatel care and attemped a vaginal delivery with no success. She has to call in an OB to do C-section. Is there anything she can bill for the attempt for a vaginal delivery for her time spent with patient?
The OB that would be called is not part of our Group Practice.

Thanks in advance.

Your physician can bill for prenatal care, also postpartum if he/she will be doing that. The OB should be billing for delivery only.
