Our doctor plans to do this excision in the office under light anesthesia. I found an old thread that mentioned billing 58661 or 58700 for an excision of prolapsed fimbriae but these are for laparoscopic and open procedures. Any suggestions on how to bill for a vaginal approach? The doctor has asked about billing it as an excision of vaginal lesion or mass?

Thanks

Vaginal Mass Excision- prolapsed fimbria into vag

The doctor excised a vaginal mass. Removed as a surgical procedure.

I previously researched and found 57135 but that mentions excision of vaginal cyst or tumor. This mass is going to the labs. Not sure if it's considered a tumor. Please assist. Vaginal approach
