Vaginal sulcus tear time of delivery

Hello,
We had a patient delivery vaginally, she had a second degree perineal and vaginal sulcus tear. My doctor noted, "There was a vaginal sulcus tear that extended to the perineum. This was a somewhat extensive repair. It required both 2-0 and 3-0 Vicryl...."
Can I bill anything for this extra work? From the research I've done looks like I could maybe add modifier 22, but I wanted to see what others thought if this note would be enough to validate modifier 22.
