Is anyone using IVUS (37205) during or after angioplasty/stenting in their group. If so are they seeing reimbursement on the physician/hospital sides.
The special catheter that is used is about 800.00... Is the hosptial receiving payment for it? Any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
Even if it's to refer me to another place to have this question answered.

Thanks:)

Vascular Surgery ?

Are you asking if you can bill codes 37205 and 35475 and/or 35476 for the same encounter? Yes I bill 37205 as the first code as it has a higher RVU and then 35475 and or 35476 usually with a modifier 59 as appropriate.
Hope this helps
