We did an arterial duplex vascular ultrasound , bilateral, but was a limited scan, looking for a pseudoaneurysm) Does anyone know how to bill this? 93925, bilateral w/ a 52 modifier? OR 93926 (which means unilateral or limited study) twice?

Thanks so much!

We bill 93926 (for lower extremities) --- you would not bill the modifier 52 (reduced services) because there is a limited study code.
example: if you only do right leg, you would not bill 93926 (reduced) because there is already a code - 93926

Hope this helps :)
