Wiki Vasectomy & Ultrasound Same Day - Please Help!

Hey everyone,

Providers are wondering about billing an ultrasound on the same day as a vasectomy. Place of service is outpatient office. Can you bill 55250 and 76870 on the same day? And would 76870 even be appropriate if the ultrasound is being used as an aide for the vasectomy (locate vas deferens, verify vasectomy completion, etc)?

I have been unable to find any information on this. Thank you for your help!
