I work for an ortho group. One of our surgeons did the following: I&D abscess leg/ankle, and resection of necrotic saphenous vein.

I have the code for the abscess of course, but I cannot find a code for resection of vein.

Does anyone have any insight on this?

Do you have more details? Try looking in the Index under Removal>Vein>Saphenous; there are a number of options listed.
