i have a pediatric neurosurgeon that did a ventricular reservior. i found two codes 61210 and 61215. i have read online that insurance companies are not always paying on both codes. anyone have any issues with this? also is there any code to be billed for the pocket that was made for the reservior?

61210

Wondering if you ever received an answer to your question? Per the AANS book 61210 would be the only code billed. Let me know if you have since received additional information. ty
