I'm probably overthinking again, but this is a new one for me....

One of my doctors "amputated a verumontanum lesion at its base" via transurethral approach with a resectascope. I know this is prostate tissue. Would you call this a partial TURP? Should I be looking at a different code?

Yes seems like a partial TURP see below......
The verumontanum or seminal colliculus is the rounded eminence of the urethral crest within the posterior wall of the mid prostatic urethra. The prostatic utricle opens into it in the midline and the two ejaculatory ducts open just distal to the utricle. On either side of it lie the prostatic sinuses, where numerous prostatic ducts drain. Possible Dx N42.89 but check on lab results to see if benign or malignant lesion. Urologists use the verumontanum as a surgical landmark, during transurethral resection for the prostate (TURP), to locate the urethral sphincter 2.
