We are a pain managment/injection specialists. We perform a great number of injections to patients whose cases are in litigation. Often the attorney wishes to have the procedure videotaped. Needless to say, this involves work on our part and was wondering if we could charge for the service?

Is there a CPT code for videotaping procedures???

No, there is not a CPT code for video-tapping. You would bill the attorney the flat fee legal rate the provider typically bills for legal services since this is not an insurance issue and you wouldn't bill the carrier. Hopefully, the provider gets paid for his time and effort creating this product.
