When you bill 99173 and 92551 along with the preventive exam do the insurance companies pay? I am coming across most insurance companies that are bundling the services or dropping it to the patient's deductible. If is is a non covered service than can I have the patient fill out a waiver form? Thanks -Edie

Are you using -59 modifier? We use it in our office, but if it's not a covered service it won't matter. You can also get the parent to sign a waiver for those services.
