I need to know more about these vision tests. I am not familiar with coding them and what they may or may not be included with.
Snellen, Ishihara, titmus, jaeger (need the cpt's for these)
I think I figured out that the first two are coded with 99172- or 99173

99173 can also be billed in addition to a preventive exam or other exam if the patient is not being seen for other eye issues.
Also not sure what the difference is on code 99283.

Basically I need to know if the patient comes in for a physical can we charge for any of these exams?
