Our Family practice houses a pharmacist to assist patients with a review of there medications. Normally this is done on a separate day. We had a patient that saw our pharmacist first and then needed to be seen by the physician. With both the pharmacist and physician documenting only one visit is allowed, can the Physician bill a higher level for the dos to include the pharmacists portion?
