Hi ... New to Neuro ... and I've been posed a question I'm unable to find an answer for.

If a patient comes in for VNS interrogation (95970) and programming (95978 95979), is a nurse able to provide the service under doctor supervision and can we bill for that? Dr Neuro is on site, sees the patient, then leaves the patient in the nurse's hands to finish this part of the encounter, but is available if needed.

And yes, I'm ordering a neuro coding guide pronto ... Any help anyone can provide is appreciated.
