My physician wants to perform a vertical rectus abdominis myocutaneous flap
reconstruction - I cant seem to come find the correct codes to use.
 
The Dec 2012 issue of CPT Assist has two great articles on Flap repairs and coding. One of the first questions you need to ask is is this an axial flap or a random flap. Random flaps are billed using the Adjacent tissue transfer codes.
