If the doctor "sharply debrides" verruca "observing for signs of infection, which was negative" and then recommends continuing use of OTC topical wart treatment... can that be billed as 17110 (destruction of benign lesions)? Normally when they use that code, they also have applied an anti-verruca acid in the office.
 
if the doctor is really using the term debridement then I would use 97597, but if they're paring the warts down then i would use 11055
