we are preparing to do a watchman explant in the coming weeks (in EP). i checked a 'structural heart' bill where they performed the procedure 2 years ago as follows:
Upon discussing this case, we felt that coding these together is not quite right, as in billing for it twice. Like the 33370 alone sounds more appropriate.
