Can anyone give me your feelings on any web based EMR's and billing. Do you find that you have problems acessing the info because of outages with the Internet, or are you constantly logging in and out because it may time out. The Internet programs seem to be the new thing, but I just wonder if anyone has experienced any pittfalls with these programs. Obviously the software programs are quite expensive, but I am concerned about the issues with Internet based services. I am not talking about electronic sending of the claims. I am referring to the billing program actually being on the Internet. We are a very busy office, and I am already logging in and out all day long on the programs that connect with the hospital records.
