Wiki Wedge procedure to remove embedded fetus

We have a patient who has a fetus embedded in her old cesarean scar. One of our physicians said she needs to do a wedge procedure to remove the fetus.

I cannot find anything even closely related to this. Help?

Do you have more details? Lap or open approach? Fetus is embedded in uterine scar I'm guessing?
