Our Clinics are having trouble coding a Well Woman exam when a pelvic/pap is not done because it has been done with another physician. The patients are wanting their yearly physical benefit with their insurance companies.

Is this coded with a 9921X and V700 as the primary Dx?

Well Visits

To code only for the physical exam without any GYN add ons you would want to use the appropriate code based on her age 99391-99397 with the DX of V700
 
Do we not assume the preventative code was previously billed by the patient's other physician?
