We recently had a patient who has a Medicare replacement plan which only covers the annual wellness exam.(G0439) However, he was seen in the office for a yearly evaluation for MA51 as he lives in a group home. The wellness code is not appropriate for this visit but a preventative exam is not covered. Any ideas on how to code. Thanks!
