The surgery was a Right Tympanoplasty with middle ear exploration. Which we coded correctly as 69631.

The problem is with the second procedure. Which is the Use of Facial Nerve Monitor for two hours.

The Op Report states: Please not that at the beginning of the case I did place a facial nerve monitor. Electrodes were placed into auricularis auris and oculi muscles. Using the NIM monitor we then carefully monitored the facial nerve status throughout the entirety of the case. At the conclusion of the case the facial nerve electrodes were removed. We also removed the grounding and stimulating electrodes from the patient's forehead.

Any suggestions??? Help???
