Recently the physician I work for approached me about possibly doing the coding and billing for a new 25 bed LTAC facility that is opening in the hospital that I work for. I do coding and billing for a clinic and for the physician side in hospital. This LTAC unit is not contracted through the hospital, it is a separate until provided through a different company. So it is separate from the clinic and hospital I currently work for. I would be coding and billing for 2 physicians I currently work for and some that I don't. What do I need to get started doing this from home in the evenings? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you:)
