What does movilization of the stomach mean?

Also, can laparoscopic partial mobilization of the stomach be coded?

This was done in conjunction with a diagnostic laparoscopy and an EGD.

mobilization is simply to free an organ of "sticking" to another part of the body. would have to see the op note in your case but this could be due to adhesions in which case you would need to check the NCCI edits to see if this is chargeable with the EGD or if enough time was spent on the adhesions you could use a 22 modifier.
