For a ICD-9 and CPT procedure code what would you use?
female presents with some drainage and mild pain over a cesarean section
(C-section) incision that was done four weeks ago.
The wound was explored at bedside. Lidocaine with 1% was injected
around the wound with good anesthesia. The wound was probed with a
Q-tip and the fascia was intact. The wound was relatively superficial,
approximately 1 cm deep, quarter-inch packing was placed to help keep
the wound open and a bandage was placed over the packing.
