Our Critical Care/Intensivist is stating that Chronic Vent Maintenance is after 90 days. We believe he is using the technical term for "Chronic". We don't think that applies to the ventilator maintenance while the patient is in ICU. Does anyone have resources or experience with Critical Care coding? Thanks!
