has there been a change in the payment of cast supplies? is it now inclusive w the billing of the cast?

What carrier or insurance are you billing? If it is medicare you will need to use a HCPCS code beginning with a Q. Some local carriers (medicaids, etc) also require the q codes.

How are you billing the supplies?
 
I agree

Medicare will deny the A-codes - they can be replaced by using the appropriate Q-code. The Q-codes can only be billed at one unit, however. More and more insurances are following suit and denying A-codes.
