:confused:I was advised that in an ACS outpatient setting if the procedure or care of the patient exceeds four hours we can itemize bill the iv therapy, surgical tray, iv meds, and other supplies. Please help I've looked everywhere for this answer. :confused:
 
wow were did you hear that? I do not know of any policy for itemizing in an ASC. Is your source credible?:)
 
Not sure where you read that, but if it is true, please confirm the source.. Wouldnt that be nice if we could? We never ever have billed supplies...I have taken a few seminars and did extensive research on this, and I have not seen this at all. :confused: Let us know what you find out!!:)
