What CPT code can be used when one has more than 12 ICD-10 codes on a claim. How does one handle that situation? Is there a CPT code to use to bill another claim? For example, assume a patient has a physical or wellness exam with his/her doctor. And the doctor documents over 12 ICD-10 codes, how to manage it for claims purposes as the doctor has performed a thorough exam?
If any expert coders can please respond with comments, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your kind assistance.

Sincerely,

Adriane
