I have a facility based question...when is it ok to report 93041? and where can I get some detailed information as far as guidelines etc. to support my argument as to whether or not it should be reported. I have facility that has been told they can add that code to ALL of the ED visits, but so far I have read only if it is ordered for a reason that the documents support, EKG's are also being billed at the same time...any info will be most greatly appreciated!
