Hi, I am trying to find the ICD 10 code/codes that can be used to justify CPT 20605. I have searched on CMS with zero results. Injection is being given to the wrist and the diagnosis is 'ulnar abutment syndrome', which I'm pretty sure is NOT on the approved list. I have found a similar document for 20610.

Hi, every procedure doesn't have a list of covered dx codes. I assume you're finding an LCD/LCA for 20610 because several MACs have policies for knee injections.

There may not be a NCD/LCD for it. As jkyles said, there is not one for every code. Some of the coding programs like Encoder, etc. might have a "suggested" list in them.

Ulnar abutment usually causes pain, that's probably why the injection is being done, the pain...
Depends on the documentation.
