My doctor was the actual surgeon that came in and did a repair of small bowel injury ( caused by the attending OBGYN performing a tubal ligation )
He is not normally an on call emergency doctor, but he happened to be finishing up in the OR, treating one of his scheduled surgeries (General surgeon). I am coding the repair 44602 attached to 863.20 but which modifier do I use? Can someone help? THank you.
 
Not to sure if you would need a modifier - Couldn't you just
code your Doc's Procedure - ?Separately
