Patient undergoes a 3 venous, 2 arterial CABGs using the saphenous vein, femoropopliteal vein, and the radial artery, harvested by the surgeon performing the grafts. The venous grafts were procured using endoscopic harvesting techniques. What CPT® codes are reported?

A.33534, 33512, 35572

B.33534, 33519, 35572, 35600, 33508

C.33514, 35572, 35600

D.33533, 33521, 35572, 35600, 33508

Instructions in CPT book state 55309 should be used only if radial artery is harvested endoscopically, so why does the correct answer (B) include 35600 (harvest upper extremity artery, open) instead? Do we presume open harvest if not specified? It only specifies that venis are harvested endoscopically. Am I misinterpreting the guidelines?
